It was a good week for law enforcement in the Kruger National Park towards the end of October when 14 suspected poachers were arrested. This thanks to the collaborative efforts of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), the South African Police Services (SAPS) and SANParks.
World Ranger Day was celebrated on 31 July. These brave men and women daily put their lives on the line in protecting the earth’s natural resources. Here in Africa they often find themselves in the middle of war zones and proper training is thus of utmost importance.
On 9th December 2013 the passing out parade was held at Parque Nacional do Limpopo’s (PNL) Aguia Pesqueira (Fish Eagle) camp for 40 newly trained field rangers.
